Musical Monday

Music was a little weak this week. But that's alright cause how stinkin' crazy was Grey's Anatomy last night? Sweet heavenly hosts, that was intense. I've never yelled so much at an inanimate object. Anyways, thanks again for the comments, keep 'em coming! And if you guys could continue to spread the word, that'd be amazing. Especially linking to this site from your own blogs. I think my screenwriting partner and I may start doing a weekly podcast, so it'd be great to increase readership in preparation for that. What do you guys think? Would you actually listen to a podcast? Holler back.
"Love Knows How To Fight" - M. Craft (on episode "The Cliffhanger" of the OC)
*haven't been able to find this one.

"Hide Away" - Rock Kills Kid (on episode "The Cliffhanger" of the OC)

"Fall At Your Feet" - James Blunt (on episode "The Cliffhanger" of the OC)

"Cava Del Rio" - Senza (on episode "The Cliffhanger" of the OC)

"Wasted" - Black Flag (on episode "The Cliffhanger" of the OC)

"Miniature Disasters" - KT Tunstall (on episode "It's the End of the World" of Grey's Anatomy)

"Dead Streets" - Monotypes (on episode "It's the End of the World" of Grey's Anatomy)
*stream from their myspace

"In the Sun" - Michael Stipe and Chris Martin, originally by Joseph Arthur (on episode "It's the End of the World" of Grey's Anatomy)
*the above is only a sample of the song. i urge you to purchase the tracks via iTunes tomorrow, as the proceeds will go directly to Mercy Corps via the In the Sun Foundation, to aid those in the Gulf Coast affected by Hurricane Katrina.
**here's a live version of the song sung by Stipe and Martin.

"Shine More" - Sandra Pires (on episode "Rashard And Wallace Go To White Castle" of Veronica Mars)
*couldn't find the version from the episode. but here is the version sung by Namie Amuro, a Japanese artist, and written by Sandra Pires. either way, i'm not a big fan.

"Veronica" - Britt Daniel (video) of Spoon, originally by Elvis Costello (on episode "Rashard And Wallace Go To White Castle" of Veronica Mars)
*went ahead and edited down this clip, my first upload on to youtube, just for you guys:

I am fuming after the GA episode. I hate cliff hangers. Will Meredith be blown into 'pink mist'? Does Baily lose her child? Will McDreamy be able to save Bailey's husband? Will Gary Hobson of Early Edition be able to save Meredith? Will he become Meredith's new McDreamy, or at least her McDog? I want instant gratification; I want to know what happens now now NOW! I don't know how I'll be able to wait a week.

Amazing episode, but really, what kind of idiot decides to build his own bazooka?

Well, okay, I kind of like the Namie Amuro song on first listen - I would dance to that if it came on in a club. Got a bit of a Salsa feel to it.

Grey's Anatomy was worth watching that stupid football game for. Anybody else reading the blog?

I'd definitely listen to a podcast.
Grey's was great although I do kind of wish they had put someone other than Mere in danger because obviously she's going to be fine so it's not all that suspenseful.

Well, I said I would listen to a podcast but I realize you never specified what the podcast would be about..? oh well, I stand by my promise, it's the least I can do after all the great music my ears have been treated to.
p.s. do you know if the iTunes offer is good in the Great White North too?
p.p.s. I was the one having difficulties last week (and the week before) and now this week! I have no idea what it is. It worked fine for me before but now I can't save. Oh well, I can still listen though which is the key part.
Thanks again for the effort you put into this.

Um. Reading helps. Let me help you out a bit be reiterating. I hate cliff hangers because, "I want instant gratification; I want to know what happens now now NOW! I don't know how I'll be able to wait a week."

Did you understand it the second time around?

hey anonymous, so i think the podcast'll be about porn and the MTV show, There and Back. i hope you still stand by that promise! =) seriously though, we may just do random topics each week. still brainstorming... what podcasts do you usually listen to btw? and also, sorry for the download difficulties. i'm not sure what's going on. downloads are workign for me right now... ya know, it might be the server too. it's spotty at times, so you might wanna try back later and the problems might be solved.

bryant and other anonymous, before the back and forth comment-bickering begins, let me set forth the rules. whoever can use the words 'bitch', 'grundle', 'stacy keebler' and 'your mom' the most often in their insults wins.

I could stand a podcast about porn but please, no Ashley Angel. Honestly, I'm pretty new to podcasts so I don't have that many subscriptions but right now I'm listening to CBC 3 (it's independant Canadian music). I have yet to listen to a podcast that wasn't music so I'm sure anything you guys came up with would seem novel and fascinating to me.

Thanks once again for all the great music! I can't even begin to say how amazing GA was!! And I'll definitely be popping over to iTunes to get the other version of "In the Sun" I've loved Joseph Arthur's original version of the song for years (thank you Dawson's Creek ;) )and this version is just as good!

Heh. I haven't heard anyone say "Thank you, Dawson's Creek" in a long while. Or, you know, ever.(Well, besides me thanking them for giving me over 100 episodes of Joshua Jackson goodness.)

As for GA, I did think it was great but I know that Meredith will be okay. And that doesn't make for a great cliffhanger, as someone mentioned above.
