Maybe I've been worn down by the awfulness that is this summer's tv season, but I watched my first episode of the show last night and could not stop. It's such a horrible, horrible show. Yet so freakin awesome. I get to watch the "drama" unfold in the lives of the douchebags I see at LA bars, without having to be friends with them. Seriously, why are the guys on these shows such douches?? But I suppose the hot girls help. That Whitney girl at Teen Vogue actually seems quite pleasant.
Another show I've grown to love: It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia. Before this season, I had mixed opinions. Mostly "kinda amusing", but there have been some awesome high points: "Underage Drinking: A National Concern" and "Charlie Wants an Abortion". However, Season Two's been non-stop HEE-larious and has gotten better with every episode. This past week's ep, "Hundred Dollar Baby", was the funniest one yet. My favorite part about the show is Charlie Day, he steals every scene. If they run out of material, they could just have him read lines in a high-pitched voice and I'd watch every week.
Lastly, Entourage fell off the rails for a bit there with the Dom episodes. One of the worst guest characters ever introduced.. on par with Oliver and Johnny on the OC. But the show got back on track with the past two eps. I think I previously posted an outdated version of "Keep Me In Your Mind" by the Koreans. I apologize.. I'd last seen them at CMJ '03 and hadn't really kept up to date on their going-ons. The new version sounds way better, you can find it below along with the other tunes:
