Fudiculous Friday
For now, I'll just post the tunes. I think I'll do a review of this week's shows on Sunday, maybe make last week's Season Pass a weekly thing, I'd love to see the comments section become a forum of sorts (thanks for all the comments on Monday btw).
Also, I just got back from the M. Ward concert, which was splendid. Tonight, I'm going to Nada Surf/Guster, so look out for a review of concerts since moving out to LA (included will be The Format, Willie Nelson/Ryan Adams/Neko Case, Ben Kweller, Mates of State/The Long Winters, and many others, accompanied of course with mp3s).
How I Met Your Mother - "The Scorpion and the Toad"
"It Was Love" - The Elected
Heroes - "Genesis"
"Eyes" - Rogue Wave
House - "Lines in the Sand"
"Waiting on an Angel" - Ben Harper
Smith - "Two"
"Deadwood" - Dirty Pretty Things
"Revelations" - Audioslave
"Out of Control" - Rancid
"We Want The Airwaves" - The Ramones
"Black Swan" - Thom Yorke
"Savin' Me" - Nickelback
*not linking to this, man's gotta have principles (though i loved that they threw the Nickelback CD out the window)
Grey's Anatomy - "I Am a Tree"
"The Time Is Now" - Moloko
"Crashing Down" - Mat Kearney
"Theme From Chalets" - The Chalets
"The Mating Game" - Bittersweet
"Running On Sunshine" - Jesus Jackson
"Open Your Eyes" - Snow Patrol
*EDIT: So if I'm going by the comment count, I'm guessing Musical Monday is more popular than Fudiculous Friday? (Yes, this is a thinly guised way of demanding more comments. I'm passive aggressive and needy. Ladies?)

Great Stuff and thanks again, for all your insight and music finding prowess
Moley
Fuddle? Seriously?
You could call it anything though, and I'd still be on board. How do I love thee, let me count the tunes. Thank you!
"Did I ever tell you your my hero????" ... j/k
but thanks for all the great stuff, especially the Jesus Jackson song, I#m totally digging that one (although I HATED Meredith dating both *sigh*)
I am ashamed that I am from the same city as Nickelback. I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the world.
Haven't watched Grey's yet but I'm more excited for the Office.
That Jesus Jackson song is AWESOME!!! Sounds a bit like Ben Harper. I can't find info on him anywhere though.
Captain Oats, you're the hottest equine blog champion ever.
As always, you are awesome!
ahhh! caption oats i totally love you! i had such a crapass day today but WHO CARES because you totally made my day (actually your updates always make my day)! you are my hero! thanks for the wonderful music again.
Thanks so much Sonny! But I must admit, I'm a little disappointed that you don't have the tunes here from Ugly Betty. Did you watch the pilot? I loved it, and will definitely be adding it to my TV roster.
Thank you for the music! You are awesome!
Lots of good songs this week...I am especially a fan of Ben Harper, Dirty Pretty Things, Moloko, The Chalets, Bitter:Sweet, and Thom Yorke.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for including the Thom Yorke track! My broke grad student budget has prevented me from buying The Eraser yet. :(
love all the music that you posted. thanks.
FRIDAYS!!!
Ok so it's now technically Sunday morning, but you still posted on Friday which is awesome. Also awesome was Grey's Anatomy this week - thanks for those tunes. I haven't listened to them yet as they're downloading, but I know the Snow Patrol one is really good.
Ooh and I'd like to see a weekly show review (especially for Grey's)
When's the Autumn Reeser interview?
Once again thanks for the music and for running this amazing blog - I definately appreciate it!
Thanks again for the tunes! I now have a new ipod playlist called "Soony's blog tunes"
also -- what is the song they keep playing during the "next week on grey's anatomy" preview. I know I have it on my ipod but i can't find it.
I object to the fact that Grey's gave itself the perfect oppertunity to play Guided by Voices' "I Am A Tree" and then didn't.
Thanks for the tunes. You wouldn't happen to be able to find out the song/artist that was the last song played on Men in Trees, would you? I was totally disappointed in the show, but that damn song is stuck in my head! It was the episode with the auction, and the last scene is at some sort of dance. The lyrics are essentially "Stand on your own," or at least, that's all i can remember. I can't find this info anywhere, and you seem to have superpowers when it comes to finding good songs! THANKS!!
Cap't! You are da man! I just stopped by to say Hi, and here are the tunes posted early! You have lifted my spirits immensely! :-)
Like Ann, I wonder what you thought of Ugly Betty? I thought the pilot was really great.
Thanks again for all the great tunes, and for just being you!
Thanks for Bitter:sweet! And happy (facebook) birthday!
I think either day is fine. When I hear a song on a tv show and wonder what it is I almost always know you will have it. You should check out nip/tuck they have some great music on there.
Were the links removed? I'm having trouble downloading them.
Never mind. Problem solved!
I like Fundiculous Friday. Because it sounds absolutely insane.
kevin, the song on the grey's previews might be "how we operate" by gomez...hope that helps
Are you witholding your update on last weeks shows just to get more comments on your FF post? That's just mean. I agree that Fudiculous Friday sounds absolutely insane. I have no idea what word the fu represents and what it might have to do with music.
Thanks again for the all of the tunes! I have not listened yet but I trust you and the taste of the other posters!
I too, sort of hated that Meredith chose to date both....maybe because I didn't expext it. But will see how interesting that gets!
Captain Oats, I will admit I felt like I HAD to post afer your "guised demand"---my mother warned me about pasive aggressive men...but she never said they might have good tunes :-)
--sory I didne't checck me speling!!

hi lauren, it's actually fudiculous friday. no fun involved. =)
hey anon, i actually am not holding out for more comments. it was my birthday today so i haven't had the chance to blog yet.. and fudiculous stands for fucking ridiculous.. it's an awesome contraction. use and abuse it.
hi raynp, your mother was right.
You are my hero. It would take me forfrickinever to find each of these songs. You have made my Grey's Anatomy musical stalking so much easier! Merci beaucoup!
Hey alissa, forfickinever is a very long time, so I'm glad i could help!
thank you for the amazing tunes whether it be Musical Monday or Fudiculous Friday, I love them both! Thanks again for the awesome awesome music.
