When you say that you can't watch Six Degree anymore, do you mean you're not home at that time, or that you choose not to subject yourself to that kind of torture? It's the latter for me. JJ Abrams, man! I had such high hopes!

As always, thank you ever so much for the tunes.

(I'm pretty sure the GA music is from last night's episode - "Sometimes A Fantasy.") [/nitpick]

Thanks so much for the tunes! So glad that The Pipettes are getting more exposure.

Again, thank you for the GA songs. I'm having problems downloading the Joe Purdy song, but this happened with last week's post -- I waited a few minutes, reloaded, and it magically let me do it.

You rock!

"Suddenly I See" hasn't arrived in redundancy land yet?! It's already been on GA, The Hills, Men In Trees, Ugly Betty, Six Degrees, So I Think You Can Dance & The Devil Wears Prada (and probably more I don't know about). How many more music editors need to 'discover' this song before it is completely redundant?

P.S. Thanks for the tunes!

Yeah, the season premiere of Veronica Mars wasn't on par with it's usual mind-blowingly awesome but I have to say that Veronica Mars is smarter than me.

Looking at next week's previews, I have high hopes.

Thanks for the songs! I look forward to your song posts every week.

As for VM, the premier was toned down a little in order to get new viewers from Gilmore Girls. However, I thought it was pretty good, but those who saw the second ep already have said that it was a lot better than this week's.

Yeah, I was really kind of disappointed with V Mars. I appreciated that the opening theme has gone more "college indie" to match the college years, but wtf with Keith, Kendall and the Fitzpatrick?

I thought the show was redeemed a bit with the Logan/Dick scene at the end, and the teaser for next week looks promising, though. Hopefully it lives up to its own hype.

PS Thanks for the music. :)

i agree about 6 degrees...it kills my spirit.

I've been obsessed with that tristan prettyman song for a while...she played at my college a couple years ago and she's fantastic live!

PS. thanks again for the david gray song!

Lily Allen being included in the GA soundtrack this week was so freakin' cool! Glad to see the lil' lass is getting some much deserved exposure on this side of the pond.

Thanks for the music!

HI. I love you and your blog. Upon losing my favorites today, I realized: "oh my goodness, I take your site for granted! I can't even remember the name of the site! Which is sad since I've been a visitor since early March. Craaaaap." luckily, google was kind enough to help me out... i'm so thankful that i remembered the phrase "musical monday"

but yeahhhh... definitely love you and your site...

I heard they toned down VM so that new viewer's could catch on quicker. A good idea since VM always seems unable to attract new viewers, but blehh. Oh well, still a better show compared to some others.

P.S. Thanks for putting up the songs, especially GA! But I used to be quite a frequent blogger so I read up on your life no and then. Feel good, feel good..?

Thanks again for the songs, so happy all the good shows are back so I can get some more music! I thought VM was a tad less exciting than usual, however I'm just so stoked that it's back that I'd settle with just watching Logan sleep!

Hey.

There is something disturbingly bland about Six Degrees that I can't quite put my finger on. Feels like nothing is happening, and the cool concept comes across as more of a gimmick... I dunno just my opinion...

I love VM. Most of the critics say that it gets it's groove back in the 2nd episode. I just wish it could get the unmodified credit theme back. Still one of my favorite shows.

Thanks a lot for the GA tracks. Awesome blog. You should do more life updates. Found your last post very interesting.

So thanks uh....again,

Love this site, love Fudilicious Friday, and love your taste in TV. Found this site over the summer and been checking it religiously since.

The music on this week's Grey's was meh - but I'm glad you put up PCD's Buttons... I was just like ... "He couldn't... could he?"

And you did. I was amused.

I'll be here regularly, keep up the amazing work.

Happy Birthday to yooooou!

I haven't read the "Story Of Me" yet, but I know it'll be interesting! :-)

Loved all the tunes (as usual). Six Degrees puts me right to sleep. I'd hoped for so much more from J.J.

Haven't seen the new VM yet; it's faux TiVoed. :-)

Thanks for the tunes! Rob Thomas admitted that the premiere would be "Veronica Mars for beginners," and that particularly the first half of the ep was written with the intent of "inviting Gilmore viewers to stick around." But he said the 2nd ep would be back to the classic VM we know and love. In other words, don't give up on it. That said, I loved the premiere!

Thanks Sonny! These look great. I'm sad to see KT Tunstall get overexposed though -- sort of just ruins it, doesn't it? I'm crossing my fingers that the same thing doesn't happen to Lily Allen -- she's some genius driving music.

I had something really odd happen when I tried to play the 'Wanna Fly' mp3 by Vassy. In the program Zplayer (comes with the cccp) it showed track (1/3) and was 7 minutes 25 seconds long. About 4 minutes in another guy starts singing in and out along with Vassy's music.

If I play the mp3 in something like windows media player it's only 3:21 and no guy starts singing. This is VERY weird. Any idea what's up?

HOT COOKIE, there are some pretty songs nestled in here today!!!
well done mister broadener-of-musical-horizons, you!

kavina xx

p.s. as to the rest of the world - who cares when artists 'cross over' so to speak? if you love 'em you should be happy they're making big bucks making music that THEY want to and that YOU like! i mean, would anyone seriously want to listen to stupidly big names like robbie williams on the radio 24/7 when they can have some good music playing instead?? think about it.

I agree. There was just something off about the pace of Veronica Mars. The writers were trying too hard to give her quips.

hey lauren, hope the song ended up working! you rock!

hi jo, you know the post actually had an article about the overuse of this song: http://www.nypost.com/seven/10082006/tv/scottish_singer_tunstall_serenades_all_abc_shows_tv_paige_albiniak.htm

anon, you're quite welcome.

hey anon, lily allen is awesomeness.

hi anon, six degrees is officially off the dvr. hope it gets canceled soon.

anon, you're very welcome.

hi moley, i have tricks.. and some connections. don't wanna give away all my secrets. =)

anon and anon, welcome!

hi anon, what did ya think of this week's vm?

hey anon, yeah i read the article about rob thomas toning down the premiere to gain viewers, but that shouldn't mean it has to suck. nonetheless, of course, im sticking with the show. it's veronica mars.

hey katie, you liked the opening theme? gotta disagree with ya there. i absolutely hate it. but i do agree on the keith arc.. what the hell is going on?? so lame.

hi heather, tristan prettyman.. what a name. that can't be real right? but yeah, she's great. and you're welcome on the david gray!

hi tc, yeah lily allen will hopefully get bigger here in the states... not like she needs it though, she's blowing up, or blown up i should say, across the pond!

hi anon, i'm glad you remembered musical monday. it's all about alliteration. thanks for reading!

hey vicki, yeah bleh indeed. but hopefully rob thomas won't leave us high and dry... and yes it feels quite good when you read up on me life.

hi laura, you're welcome. jason dohring is the new ed norton.

hey ryzil, totally agree on the credits. i will definitely be updating the story of me periodically.. thanks for reading!

mary, you are the hottest, most perfect blog reader ever.

hi raynp, glad you like the buy album links! i think you're the only one that commented! so i appreciate the feedback..

hey steve, thanks! man people are really having a tough time with the new title though.. it's Fudiculous Friday.. as in Fucking Ridiculous... hmm, maybe I need to change it. And glad you appreciate the PCD.. who can resist ya know?

hi anon, you're welcome

hey anon, twop banned me. i hate them. but then i love them at the same time since you were able to find this blog through it!

hi krissi! thanks for the birthday wishes!! yeah jj definitely let us down.. he should just focus on Lost.

hey anon, welcome!

hi anon, did ya like the second episode?

hey mel, lily allen rocks my socks. as do you. and i love quizno's.

hi anon, i have no idea how that happened. and i have a feeling it hasn't happened to anyone else.. but is the 4 minutes of the guy singing any good? =)

hey daniel, thanks for the kind words. keep coming back!

hi anon, you're welcome mate!

hey ana, you rock.

hi kavina, i love hot cookies. i also have a soft spot for robbie williams... i apologize. i dunno, there's something that hurts though when you go to a douchebag party and a song you love comes on... for example, postal service's such great heights.. one of the most romantic songs of recent memory.. i heard it at this douche central beach party a few weeks ago.. it kinda hurt my soul. am i making sense at all? no? touche.

hey writermonkey, no problem!

hey anon, i agree. you have good taste.

hey jayne, yeah i think the show will be one of the next to go... fingers crossed.
