O.C.u on the Other Side

"The End's Not Near, It's Here."
Watch the finale tonight, 9/8 PM on FOX.

To quote the group that Seth Cohen turns to in times of grief (no not Death Cab), Boyz II Men...

"It's So Hard To Say Goodbye." I'll be posting a proper goodbye post tomorrow, but in the meantime, head over to Give Me My Remote for an exclusive interview with Josh Schwartz, a selection of favorite quotes, and a few pics from the finale.

And because no OC post is complete without a little music, here's the much-talked-about last song to be used on tonight's episode:
"Life's A Song" - Patrick Park [buy album]

Leave your favorite OC moment in the comments!

Favorite OC moment?? That's a tough one... possibly Julie Cooper's old-school, cradle-robbing "Night Moves" -- or maybe when Johnny died... Also, any moment that didn't have Oliver in it -- or Marissa -- was pretty good, too!! :)

My favorite O[c]ffice moment was when Roy flipped shit and broke up with Pam! YESSSSSS! Team Pam forever!

Favorite scenes: New year's ending scene with "dice" playing in the background, Anna's departure at the airport, spidey/seth/summer kiss, and there's many more.

I cannot believe tonight is the last episode ever. My heart bleeds tonight.

:) On a different note: Thanks for the tunes!

I can't believe it's over ...
I know you sometimes talk to Josh, so if you do please tell him:
Thank you SO MUCH for The OC. Yeah it had its ups and downs, but the fact that I still cared about it throughout shows that it was a remarkable show.

Seriously though, I loved the finale. The first 50 minutes were total filler, but the last 10 made up for it. And the final scene was totally perfect.

Thanks for getting the song up so quickly! I'm eager for the full songlist from tonight though (Greys/OC).

And my favourite moment ... I'm really not sure. I'll pick one possible one though: the scene by the pool in The Graduates. Or the scene at the very end of The Proposal.

RIP OC <3

ohhh, Captain Oats. just watched the finale, and now I'm all nostalgic and verklempt and just horribly, horribly sad. Josh did a pretty amazing job of creating characters that we were all able to fall in love with, and stay in love with, despite the ups and downs in plotline. I'm going to miss the whole OC family, for sure.

favourite OC moment... there are so many good moments that I'm too overwhelmed to recall right now, but I think what I'll miss more than anything is just the interaction and banter between Seth and Ryan (and the Cohens, and Summer, and the Coopers, and ... etc.) it's what got me hooked on this show four years ago and what kept me interested until the last episode.

California, here we comeee... <3

ahh, there is so many great oc moments. Let me think..let me think.

seth/summer spidey kiss, when seth was drawing summer in her costume, when seth went to the aiport to say goodbye to anna, when anna came back to the oc, the first time ryan and taylor kiss! AND MANY MORE!

Goodbye OC, you were more then just a show.

Julie Cooper... You are an inspiration and it was a pleasure watching you work your magic these past four years. You will be greatly missed.

Melinda Clarke deserves an Emmy. 'Nuff said.

hey bro...
the entire first season was pretty much a moment. mischa standing at the curb... ryan and sandy driving away into the sunset... anything anna ("confidence cohen!")...then killers at the baitshop... no rain (on indie 103)... caleb and imogen.... taylor's graduation speech broke me. the. F. up.

Then this season really brought it back. I loved mischa, but i think marissa's drama ( and choice in douchebag guys, not unlike real life) is what drug the show down, so focusing back on the family this season was amazing.

I can't believe it's over. I feel like just yesterday i was just watching the fashion show for the first time. But it went out with a bang, much better than totally fading away! <3 OC

RIP

Thanks for the song. I loved the finale, it was amazing and definitely a worthy ending to the show.

I'm sure your goodbye post will be a whole lot better than the one I just threw together in my blog.

Favourite OC moment... is hard because there are so many, especially from season 1. I think my all time favourite episode is the season 1 Thanksgiving one, it was hilarious and the best Thanksgiving episode ever on a TV show (but GA season 2 comes close). Also, the New Years episode that season was amazing.

Every single moment of The OC was worth it! *Clears throat* Except Johnny. S4 is amazing! My favorite and the finale was so sad it'll be hard to say goodbye to this amazing show.

One funny, but not really favorite moment off the top of my head: in one of the very first episodes, after Ryan kinda taught Sandy how to play video games..Sandy playing by himself and shouting "Hey Ryan!! I've totally annihilated all the other ninjas!!"

Thanks for posting "Life's A Song"!! There are so many favorite moments of The O.C. My top faves would have to be the fab four driving to Tijuana, the New Year's Eve party with "Dice" in the background, the Anna/Summer "Golden Girls" stuff, and anything with "Hallelujah".

There are too much OC moments to post! But mostly are from S1 and S4 and no to mention the last 3 episodes of S2! Hey, Captain Oats, when the artwork for The OC S4 DVD is up, will you put it on the 'You Should Watch' thing?
