40 Posts In 40 Weekdays: Recycle

Day Five of the 40 Post Promise is going to be a short one.

I just want to point out that I've thrown up a few more songs from the Chuck pilot in yesterday's Fall TV Preview post. So check it out below and leave a comment! Your interaction is the only way I'll make it through the remaining 35 days!

Sonny, it was a lonely summer without having your posts to go to.....well, not that lonely, but you were definitely missed. I thought you stopped at day two and then I realized that we're already in September.

It's good to see your back at it. I can't wait for the fall TV season to start. One question, have you heard of Alexi Murdoch. I like his music and is one of those unknown (I think) artists that many would like.

Hey there!
More commenting love from your friendly neighborhood stalker. Keep up the good posting - you can doo eet!
marc, I have Alexi Murdoch's song All of My Days (and love it) - I'm almost positive I got it here at SPD after it was used in the OC (or Grey's?). The Captain always knows about the cool music.

Hey Marc,
Thanks for the comment, what are you gonna be watching this fall? Alexi Murdoch is great, he's been featured a lot on various shows, definitely a few times on The OC and I think a few times on House. I believe a Toyota commercial used a song of his too. So hopefully, all the above is getting him some much deserved exposure. My favorite of his is "Orange Sky." Which I think is downloadable somewhere in the SPD archives!

Hi NYOne,
Love the multiple comments! I did indeed post "All of My Days" a while back.. it was used in one of the Season 4 OC eps... have you heard "Orange Sky"?

So basically you need us to comment you to give you strength to post, just like you have to clap for Tinkerball at the end of Peter Pan on Ice to give her strength. Errr, not that I ever saw Peter Pan on Ice, but you know just as an example, if you will.

I'm glad you're back to posting!
I must say though, as much as I love your random posts about tv and movies and your love life (and honestly all three of those are quite entertaining to read about), my absolute favourite part of this blog is the music. It's insane how much of my iTunes library is thanks to this site - both from songs that have been posted, and other songs by those or similar artists that I've liked because of the first songs. Anyways I'm excited to get back into tv season, and back into Musical Mondays!
Do you know anything about the Gossip Girl music? I'm looking for something to replace OC music.

Huh, I totally have Orange Sky from The OC: Mix 1. Don't know how I missed that. It is a good one, no doubt.

Oh, bee tee dubs (see I told you I would work that into my vocabulary), I'm FINALLY catching up on FNL. Yay DVDs! So much love - and I can't wait to go back and read your thoughts on the eps.
