So i just watched the episode and i have to say that it was pretty damn good. i was a huge fan of the o.c. and i thought that this was just going to be a cheap knock-off of it(which it kinda was) but it still was pretty good. im definitely going to have to watch this.

Hi Cap't,

I'm just checkin' in to tell you that all the reviews you're postin' rock. I, for one, appreciate you taking the time to give us the 411 on upcoming shows. I love the tunes, too, but the reviews are icing on the cake!

BTW, I've been hearing that Grey's is going to go back to it's roots (i.e., lighter and funny). Ausiello has mentioned it a couple of times as has Kristin's column.

C'ya!!

Sonny, I love you, but if you keep breaking my heart and not posting then I'm going to have to move on, because I just can't take the pain any more.

i watched it. and i loved it. show really has an Oc feeling to it. Serena is especially Marissa like. Some shots really remind of Oc. On the other hand ... it has tendecy to remain party focussed. Not to clean. Let's just hope that Josh Schwarts can resist CW executives who tend to make bad bad BAd decisions.

yes, i'm about to turn 26 and i own ALL the gossip girl books. what?

not to mention it really excites me that serena is played by the same girl who played bridget in the sisterhood of the traveling pants.

wow. i need to go look in the mirror and cry.

you're killin me smaaaaaaaaaaaaaalls

what's with the non-posting, non-letting us know why you're missing-deal?? As sad above, truly heartbreaking, I was rootin for ya to pull through on this 40-posts in 40-days deal. I even was gonna let it slide that you missed last week and compensated by posting twice.

On the other hand, if you're NOT posting, maybe it means something really good has happened for you and you've just been uber busy? I'm hoping that this is the truth, and I'm sure we'll get an explanation in due time...

I loved The OC (but only in its first season alas and maybe some in its last but too little too late) so I was intrigued by another OC-like show.

Having hopefully aged and matured more over the years, I wanted so badly to hate the show or dislike it just because the premise sounds so absurd and well... kind of gratitious...

But you know what? It's such a hard show to not like. lol.

I love it. It's such a guilty pleasure but unlike other guilty pleasures like err... chocolate... it doesn't make you fat. It's just pure pleasure.

Yes, Gossip Girl. I know I love you.

i loved this pilot! definitely a guilty pleasure. i'm glad schwartz is veering from the novels; this way the plot line won't be as predictable. could you post some mp3s from the pilot maybe? the soundtrack did not disappoint.

The Desperate Housewives voiceover shit is pretty annoying, but otherwise i'm into it. I bleed OC and it reminds me of the 90s Dominique Swain movies, like TART and stuff...

Or like watching an issue of Vanity Fair.

I expected great things of this show.. and i got great things. I've read a lot of the books, several times i admit, and i was kinda thinkin i'd know what was happening in the show before it happened. But that hasn't been the case, there's been some unexpected stuff that doesn't run too far from the books, so it's acceptable, almost a good thing? Anyway, even though i was VERY unsure of blake lively playing serena as i didn't think she had that certain.. je n'e se quoi (sp?) that serena is supposed to have she's pleasently surprised me. She's still not AMAZING but she's not bad. I lovelovelove jenny, even though she's supposed to have big boobs etc, it still works with taylor momsen. I also loveloveLOVE dan, actually would want to marry him if he was a real person. New Seth Cohen? Maybe. Overall... new favourite show. Can't wait till it comes here to the UK and i don't have to watch it on my laptop.
Bit of a ramble there.. but no-one was giving good breakdowns of their opinions so i thought i'd start the trend ;]
