Wusical Wednesday

Good Lord, there's a lot of good music on TV this season. Not surprisingly, Mr. Josh Schwartz is providing most of the choice tracks through his two new shows, Gossip Girl and Chuck. Make sure to watch both! Chuck is growing on me (an odd sentence out of context), and I am fully addicted to GG, which really swung into gear last week (haven't watched the new episode yet (I'm using a lot of parenthesis)). The adult version of Gossip Girl, Dirty Sexy Money, is also quite entertaining. I'm going to save the rest of my episode opinions for my Fall TV Preview posts.. which are quickly turning into Fall TV Reviews. Ah, story of my life.

Anyway, gotta keep this short, but much thanks to Krissi and for making my life a little easier.

Hey, thanks as always! I adore Chuck and am definitely keeping up with Gossip Girl, though not as hooked on it as I thought I would be. Other early favorites are Reaper and Pushing Daisies. I enjoy the lighter tone Grey's is taking with everything, even if "Gizzie" still fills me with rage. And FNL - well, it'll be interesting to see how they deal with the Tyra/Landry situation. I remain cautiously optimistic.

Anyway, enough of me! Looking forward to your take on the new season of TV!

Man, music sure can make a TV show!!! 'Freaks and Geeks' anyone? I still get teary-eyed every time I hear 'You'll Accomp'ny Me' or 'Ripple' because they were so perfect for those episodes.

I am still in denial that my beloved F&G died such an untimely death. Waaah!

I really enjoy your blog. Congrats on your success!

I was wondering where you get your weekly soundtrack for Reaper.

I heard a song on the pilot during the first 5 minutes of the show, it was during the dog vs door scene and I can't find the song in your list!

Could you perhaps help me identify it?

That song replaced the Dirty Pretty Things song from the pre-air pilot...I'm not sure anyone knows what it is yet.
